One of the best Thai restaurants on the main line. Everything is wonderful here and it's BYOB!

We came to this restaurant for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. the staff were so friendly and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Warmly recommended.

Ordered the drunken noodles and calamari. Wonderful authentic Thai cuisine!

Delicious!! Best massaman curry ever, and I had the tofu version. My Husband's dish was exquisite too, will definitely come back

Good food, pleasant surroundings, nice people.

Horrible service ! Undercooked shrimps. Lady was extremely rude telling us she doesn't has time to split bill. Super slow service. One lady doing everything ....I would not recommend if you don't have 2 hrs to spend on lunch

Great experience and wonderful Thai dishes

We have been coming to Silk Cuisine for years! The food is consistently wonderful and the owners are gracious and kind hosts. We've tried many of there dishes and have never been disappointed. A few stand outs are the soups (our favorites are the seafood stew and the mushroom soup), the basil dishes are fabulous, and every now and then they serve a green tea cake that is sublime, truly spectacular. We always have a great time at Silk Cuisine and think you will too.

Older dated place but the food is extremely good service is excellent to diamond in the rough.

First visit. Tried the spring rolls, yellow curry, and pad Thai. Everything was very good. We'll definitely go back.

This place knows how to serve their clients. Always with a super friendly approach. The food is fairly priced, regularly delightful and clean.

Good food, asked for spicy, got spicy.

The Massaman curry is unbelievable…one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted, anywhere. I have enjoyed everything I've eaten here but the Massaman is simply addictive. For those who like spicy food, order things hotter than you usually would as they are a little shy with the heat compared to some other Thai establishments.

Best Thai food in the area hands down.

I like this restaurant very much. there is a very nice air. The food is splendid. the service is dynamic and the personel is trained. The cost is decent. profoundly recommend.

mediocre fare in a tony neighborhood. the upscale main line suburbanites may think this is the real thing, but it falls considerably short of anything approaching excellence.

Outstanding food and hospitality

Food was tasty but not prepared as I had instructed...way too mild for curry. Service was average even though we were the only customer in the restaurant. Air conditioning was off or broken and room temp was about 80 degrees. Don't think that we will be going back.

I'd give this place 4 Stars. Wonderful Thai cuisine at a great price. If you have kids going to Villa Nova, this is a good place to take a breather from the campus. Avg $13. See my other reviews on FB under Robin's Rants and Raves

Great food, value on the Main Line

No frills, just great Thai standards, consistent..

We've been coming for years and the food is always consistently good. Additionally the service and the staff are excellent. Our go to Thai restaurant.

We were excited to order Thai ice tea but was sadly disappointed as it was very watered down and had an aftertaste. Appetizers are below average. Entrees were either too salty or not seasoned enough. We have Thai food at least once a week and this restaurant by far is the worst one. We decided to go here because it was near the hospital but it's not worth the money. A shame too because of location.

Amazing. Each dish was better than the last. All the ingredients tasted super fresh. Fast service, beautiful place. A little pricey, but worth it.

Would certainly recommend trying out this place. Fantastic ambience, delicious dishes, awesome customer service. I recommend this place.

Our table had Yellow Curry, Pad Thai and Drunken noodles. We all enjoyed our meals, but I think I'd do the Drunken Noodles next time. Prices were very comparable to other Thai restaurants in the area. The service was great and we felt very well served.

Very tasty dishes full of flavor. You can't go wrong with their curries and the family running it are great.

Order took longer than expected, prices are much higher than advertised on Google, and when it arrived the orders were not as expected, requested no egg twice and the order came out with egg, and quality was not very good.

My family has always loved this place, since I was a child. Consistent quality and friendly service.

I've come here before, and the food is okay but they're not professional, which impacts one's dining experience. I was given my meal with egg (after I very explicitly said "No egg"), and then the replacement meal I received lacked tofu, peanuts, garnishes, etc. I later asked for them to add tofu to my meal and received uncooked tofu in a separate bowl. Why would I come all the way to a restaurant, and pay good money, if I wanted cut-up, RAW tofu in a bowl? I will not be coming back and am surprised that I didn't receive any sort of discount, seeing as how both the meals I received were incorrect and lacking. For the amount of money I paid for their food, I expected way, way, WAY better service, seriousness and professionalism. Will never return.

OK place. Food quality and quantity are so so. Just OK

This is a favorite "cheap and cheerful" for Thai food.

At the moment you come to that restaurant the personel give you a good feeling. Very friendly crew, it is a friendly place to to go out with your friends or with your date. delightful cooking, specialist chef, competitive cost and excellent service. Warmly recommended.

The place offers a vast variety of delicious food. I like dining here. The employees are always very kind, prices are affordable and the spot is always kept clean.

One of the best restaurants serving Thai. The restaurant was cozy. The service was exceptionally good. The food was delivered very quickly which was excellent because we haven't eaten anything that day. We ordered Tom Yum ( sweet and sour soup) with shrimp and pad Thai with crab meat. The broth was hot, spicy, flavorful! There were four large shrimps which I thought was a reasonable amount for the price. Pad Thai was authentic tasting, the amount of crab was generous! My husband also ordered Thai iced coffee with condensed milk - he loved it. We were more than satisfied with our meal. We paid $30 for two soups with shrimp, one pad Thai with crab and iced coffee and this price was more than reasonable for the authentic and delicious meal that we got.

We went to Silk Cuisine on Saturday night after a long time not being there. It has never been better. We are fans of Asian food and based on our experience last night, we will use Silk Cuisine as our Thai restaurant of choice. We had their special fisherman's soup which was cleverly spiced to perfection. Pad Thai, a brilliant calamari salad and whole grilled sea bass completed the meal. Pricing is very fair, atmosphere pleasant and the wait staff cheery, competent and attentive. If you have not been to Silk Cuisine lately, really like authentic Thai food, you are missing out.We called ahead to make sure that they saved a fish for us and if you want a larger fish, it is probably best to give them a couple of days notice.อร่อย (Bon Appétit)

The food here is really great. I would recommend almost everything except the fried calamari. The dinner specials, pad thai, curries and other entrees are great. The place is cozy and decorated in an interesting but simple/clean.

I've been going to Silk for years. Had a few less than wonderful meals in all that time, but mostly very good.I find myself returning [although I've moved further away] when I can. Tonight I am taking some friends there for a dinner. I recommend it. If you have a better place on the Main Line - let's hear it.

I like this place, nice and quiet. It's been here as long as I can remember and that's a good sign! I've eaten here several times and never had a bad meal, plus the prices are reasonable and the portions are good size! Service was prompt and our food came out in a timely manner. Highly recommended!

Good Thai. Enjoyed the place and service while visiting family at the university.
